Harry Potter Playing Cards: A project during Professor Key’s ARTT498 Advanced Graphic Design course at UMDCP.

Official Brief: “With complete creative freedom, create a set of cards that are important to you in some way or another, perhaps based around a hobby, a personal interest, or something to do with your friends and family. You will need to ensure that the suit and numbers are easily visible so that the pack is still usable for a card game.“

Target Audience: Harry Potter fans.

Theme: Each suit corresponds to a Hogwarts House—Gryffindors are Hearts, Slytherins are Spades, Ravenclaws are Diamonds, and Hufflepuffs are Clubs—and the card designs then are affiliated with each house, with the main cast of characters featured as face cards.

Design Sizes: 11.5×9.5 inches (poster 1: first img), 8.7×5.13 inches (poster 2: second img), and 4×6 inches (cards)
